They just added those new express lanes!!! Man is that express way a headache now!! If you thought it was crazy before its about to get even crazier!! Here are some tips for those that will be driving North bound on I-95 from downtown Miami. Don’t get trapped like me. These tips are from the Miami Herald. Just thought I share them with ya!!!
The folks at the Florida Department of Transportation, who brought you last Friday’s accident-marred chaos on northbound Interstate 95, offer these tips on adjusting to new express lanes.
• If you want to exit the interstate anywhere between downtown Miami and the Golden Glades, DO NOT enter the express lanes. You cannot break out or cut through the lane markers.
• If you inadvertently enter the lanes, DO remain calm. Go to the Golden Glades and head back.
• DO NOT weave in and out of the plastic candlestick lane dividers. It’s illegal. And it could subject you to fines starting at $100.
• If you get confused, DO NOT stop.
• DO heed new signage and speed limits. Many have changed.

Early morning!! Just had breakfast, so now we are getting ready to hit the road. We should be arriving at our destination in 5.5 hours. Hopefully there is free wifi!! Keep praying for us!!! Looking forward to an awesome week!!

After 423 Miles we have made it to our destination. Half way there to Tennessee!!! The motel is very nice, we are staying in the newly renovated section of the motel (in the video you can see the tour)!! The kids like their rooms. We will be heading to dinner in a bit, but before we do, the girls (yes parents - only the girls) get to have fun in the pool. The guys are a little jealous and upset but they get to go later on tonight. Here is a quick video!!!

We just came from dinner!! So in a hour, its LIGHTS OUT and we hit the road again. Keep praying for us!!!

40 teenagers + 6 leaders driving up in
1 (29 Passenger Bus)
2 (15 Passenger Vans) = ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES EVER!!!!
We are leaving tomorrow, for a week long trip to Tennessee and return next Saturday night. This is our Highlight of the Summer with the teens. This is one of the activities we will be doing…(click on the picture to check out the website of the place. 
Its going to be a fun trip and I know the teens are already looking forward to it. Some of the activities include:
- horse back riding
- paint balling (payback for those teens that misbehaved in camp!!!)
- mountain biking
- white water rafting (we get to do this 2 times!!!! Talk about a RUSH!!!!!)
- nightly services
- and A WHOLE LOT OF FUN!!!!

This past Wednesday we titled it “Up-close and Personal with Mr. E”. Mr. E is our local celebrity rapper!! Him and his wife go around sharing the good news of Christ to teens and adults all over the country. As a matter of fact Mr. E is hitting up Colombia and doing a 2 week tour out there!! So we changed it up this past Wednesday. Instead of your regular 30 minute sermon from the stage, we interviewed Mr. E, kind of how they do it on MTV and BET. Mr. E had a great idea of setting up studio chairs on stage, and I would interview him and in between he would rap a couple of songs. The last 10 minutes he preached his sermon, and it was amazing. 4 kids gave their life to Christ that night and of those 4 teens, for 3 of them it was the first time in youth group!! Truly amazing. We had 134 teens and young adults in the building, to check out “Mr. E up-close and personal”. Here is a little video of what went down this past Wednesday.

All this week our Teen Campers have been giving back. They have danced, sang, and acted for over 100 elders and children. It was fun seeing the teenagers interact with the elders and kids. Campers you rocked this week and all summer!! Proud of every single one of you!!!
