On Sunday, October 26th 2008 Marc F. and Kerry M. were caught “red handed” doing the Big Give. Investigators say that Marc, Kerry and some other friends went to the Family Christian Bookstore on 125th and 6th ave. When they left the store the man seen in the picture to the left, asked them if they had any money. Marc emptied his pockets of loose change and Kerry went to his car and emptied the change holder. After giving the man the change, it seemed as if they started telling the man about the Good News of Jesus Christ. Kerry and Marc then prayed for the guy and gave him a card to invite him to ECI’s (Evangel Church International) Sunday service. Hopefully the man will attend. The anonymous investigator says that if Marc and Kerry were guilty of anything, it would be showing the love of Christ. They didn’t have to do it but they did. Marc F. and Kerry M. are now wanted. When found they will be guilty as charged on 3 counts. The first will be for providing this man with any money they could help him with. The second will be for praying with a total stranger. And the third will be for inviting the man to church and showing the love of Christ. They’re consequence will be given to them by Jesus Christ when they get to heaven. My question to you is: If you were Kerry or Marc…Would you be guilty as charged?

We are putting our “BIG Give” series on hold for one week, and doing our annual Fashionable Wednesday Service.
Its going to be alot of fun teenagers!! You don’t want to miss out. EVERYONE WEAR BLACK AND WHITE!!

To advertise our Friendship Sunday service, which was under a huge tent, we ordered some shirts with our church info on it, passed them out through out the congregation, went to the mall and froze!! Totally awesome!! 70 of us in bright yellow shirts, plus 30 on-lookers to spice it up, and a WHOLE LOT OF FUN!! Shout out to my pastor and his wife for giving us the opportunity and also Pastor AL Force for giving me the heads up on it. Hey here is the video!!

6 AM at the gym (24 hour fitness) this morning I took part of the SPIN Class. And I lasted the whole 1 hour session. Up and down a cycle at my size isnt the most comfortable, but it sure gave me a sweat!! Hopefully I can go every Tuesday at 6 AM. Pray for me, as I find creative ways to lose weight, lol. I currently weigh 243lbs!! Oh my, i think the scale was broken this morning, lol. I dont feel like 243lbs!!! I feel like 233!!

Hey I apologize, my camera is no where to be found. Really sucks cause it has the Friday night concert of Ayeisha Woods and Urban D.I can’t seem to remember the last place I had it, where I thought it was, its not there!!! Ive re-traced my steps, looked everywhere, and its no where to be found. And its my favorite camera!!
I have the mall freeze, but the video is so aweful, lol. I had a rookie recording on my FLIP camera and it didn’t come out to well, lol. I didn’t give the individual enough details to using and recoding, so I will take the blame on this one. Maybe I’ll show a few footages a little later.
Someone else recorded the mall freeze, so hopefully I can get footage off of their camera.

Tonight we continued The BIG Give series which means demonstrating the kindness of God by offering to do some act of humble service with no strings attached to people outside of our present circle. This week we talked about why should we show kindness to unbelievers and how to conduct ourselves.
We used 1 scripture verse this week to make our point Colossians 4:5-6
Message Title: The BIG Give – Week 2
Message Length: 30 minutes (included 1 videos)
Element of Fun: Pretty regular flow. This week we heard teens sharing about their experience on doing The BIG Give, from sharing their lunch, to giving away their stuff, to simply being nice. It was awesome to hear some of the teenagers doing The BIG Give.
Worship: First two songs were AWESOME, Praise team did their thing once again, teens were up at the altar praising God, but it was like a light switch went off and the teens forgot how to praise, the ones in the crowd, except for a few. I know the Praise team was a little down and disappointed, but I saw them yesterday and they have a PLAN!!! Soon we will all know the plan, lol. WATCH OUT FOR THE PRAISE TEAM!!
Attendance: Tonight attendance was average.
